This article provides step-by-step guidance on registering a new heart rate monitor. It includes a video tutorial as well as written instructions that be followed either through the customer's profile or your admin settings.
Please Note:
- If your customer attends more than one of your location they will need a heart rate monitor registered to each of their attended locations.

Customer's Profile
1. In the customer's PIQ dashboard open up their 'Profile' page:
2. Click on the 'Heart Rate Monitors' tab, and open the 'Register New Heart Rate Monitor' page:
3. In the 'Register New Heart Rate Monitor' page fill out the following:
Location: The selected location that the heart rate monitor belongs to
Heart Rate Monitor ID: ID number from the customer's heart rate device.
Email: Customer's email will be listed.
First Name: Customer's first name.
Last Name: Customer's last name.
Screen Name/Alias: The preferred displayed name in place of the customer's name.
Gender: The customer's gender.
Weight: The customer's weight.
Birth Year: The customer's birth year.
Max Heart Rate: The desired maximum heart rate that the customer can reach.
4. Click on 'Register.'
Admin Settings
1. Open up your 'Admin Panel;' this will result in a new PIQ tab added to your browser:
2. Click on the 'Heart Rate Profiles' tab to find and select 'Register New Heart Rate Monitor:'
3. In the 'Register New Heart Rate Monitor' page fill out the following:
Location: The selected location that the heart rate monitor belongs to
Heart Rate Monitor ID: ID number from the customer's heart rate device.
Email: Customer's email will be listed.
First Name: Customer's first name.
Last Name: Customer's last name.
Screen Name/Alias: The preferred displayed name in place of the customer's name.
Gender: The customer's gender.
Weight: The customer's weight.
Birth Year: The customer's birth year.
Max Heart Rate: The desired maximum heart rate that the customer can reach.
4. Click on 'Register.'
